Starting 4th Grade

This is me on the first day of school, it was sooooooo fun! Mr.Larson is my teacher's name, and the coolest thing is that we are in a portable and since there is no drinking fountain he gives us water bottles. I chugged three whole bottles of water on the first day and I had to go pee two times.

IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have some cool friends in my class. My friends Conner and Cameron are in there. I love to play kickball at recess. I think this school year will be really good.

Kason's COOL or NOT COOL rating: This was SO COOL!

My lip injury

Almost 2 weeks ago, I got in a small accident when I was at Jumpin' Jacks. It's a new place here in town that has lots of those blow-up, bounce house things. I was running and another girl was running from the other direction and we both weren't paying attention to where we were going and ran into each other. My tooth went right though my lip and my other teeth cut some of the skin inside my mouth. The little girl's mom said she was a nurse and that I needed stitches. But my Mom and Dad didn't think so because I had stopped bleeding by the time I got home. And there was already a scab on the outside of my mouth. I didn't want stitches either. My teeth and gums were sore and bruised. I didn't want anyone touching them, but I was okay. I could hardly eat anything too. I drank through a straw for the first day or two and had to take some pain reliever. It was hard for me to do that.

By Saturday night, I was feeling really tired and lethargic (my Mom's word) so I went to bed. (My picture show's how tired I looked). And I didn't even want my Mom taking that picture either. But she begged me and I said okay. When I woke up in the morning my lip had swollen up really big. My Mom and Dad became worried so we called our dentist, David Stevens, who lives in our Ward. He came by to see me Sunday night. He was worried that my lip had an infection in it. So he called the pharmacy up and gave me a prescription for some antibiotics. By Tuesday my lip looked lots better. And I was feeling better too. I went yesterday to see Dr. Stevens again and he said that my lip looked really good. He told me I have some scar tissue inside my mouth that might need to come off later in my life if it bugs me too much as I get older. My lip got a good report, but my Mom wasn't happy about my newly acquired cavity! Ooops!

Kason's COOL or NOT COOL rating: This situation was SO NOT COOL!
